Aloha! We may be staying at home to thwart the spread of COVID-19, but that can't stop us from being creative! Making things makes me happy, especially in limiting situations. For example, when I was 16, I hurt my left knee in the middle of a high school basketball game. I felt like my world had collapsed, for I loved playing basketball with my team. Now, I had to stay off of my leg to keep the swelling down. I remember lying in bed with my leg propped up on some pillows with a dripping bag of ice resting on top. Luckily, I had my sketch book. I escaped my pain by sketching pictures of Tom Cruise and Bruce Springsteen (heartthrobs of my day) or objects in my room such as a small vase with a flower from a friend. So, Friends, amid our COVID-19 challenges, I thought I would invite you to join me on daily creative quests. Project #1 is an invitation into your imagination. If you could open your door and step into a new world, where would that be and what would that look like? Grab a piece of paper and let your adventure begin!

Aloha Mila, yes! Please share my videos with your students. Thank you for your comments:) I used Adobe Spark for this video, and I will be using Adobe Premiere Rush for some other videos. Great to hear from you!
Also, your video and lesson are done so well. How did you make it? My son took classes with you for about a year before we moved from Hawaii. Thank you!
May I share this with my students. If I credit you?
