Aloha! For November - December classes, EPIC Art Students worked on stop-motion videos for 8 weeks with the only requirement to include a shoe or shoes in their stories. First, they came up with their storyboards and began to create their characters and supporting props using mostly watercolor paper, watercolor pencils, and sharpies. Once all the drawings were made and put together, we used Dragonframe and a Nikon DSLR to shoot each story, frame by frame. Some of these stories required more than 300 photos! Finally, the students edited their stories in Stop Motion Studio on Ipads, adding theme music and sound effects. This was a great project, and I am amazed by how creative the students were with their stories. Enjoy the show!
