Art is a wonderful way to explore the beauty of nature. With April being Earth month, I thought we could venture into the ocean for projects #5 and #6. One of my favorite things to do in Hawaii is stand up paddling at Haleiwa Beach Park during the summer. As I have glided across the ocean's glassy top, I have enjoyed watching sea turtles playfully swimming about the reef. It is so amazing and tranquil! So, into the ocean we go with our watercolors! We will create a wash of ocean blues. If you don't have watercolors, you can use water with some drops of food coloring or you can color your ocean background using crayons. In my demonstration, I am using a pan of Crayola Washable Watercolors on a piece of white drawing paper. Let's dive in!
