Happy Favorite Friday! One of my favorite things to do is to make a special card for someone I love. As a kid, I didn't have a job, so the best gift I could give was something I made with love. As a mom, I know that I have cherished thoughtfully made cards from my daughters. So, this week's project is a card for your mom. Like Plumeria, a Hibiscus is a fun flower to draw. It has five ruffled petals and a long stemlike form with bright yellow dots coming out of its deep center. In Hawaii, I see these flowers everywhere. In fact, my husband and I are talking about planting some Hibiscus in our front yard. To make this card, you will need a piece of white paper, something to draw with (I used a dark red marker pen), crayons, and of course, love for your mom:)
